“THE DESIGNED" THE CELEBRATION OF POLISH DESIGN
From 21th to 23th of November in Cracow there will be held the festival "the Designed" – the celebration of the interior design, especially – the Polish design. The media sponsor of "the Designed" is LuksusPortal.pl.
The event's target is the environment of Cracow interior designers, but also companies, who deal with interior design and design studios, as well as all those who are interested in the layout and design of the space.
For participants, there is an interesting and rich program – seminaries, meetings with famous personalities and design markets. On the first day of "the Designed", there are planned courses and panel discussions, presentations of design companies, as well as the opening of the exhibition "Fotoprzestrzenie" (opening at 6.30 at the headquarters of Local Art Schools).
A very interesting proposition scheduled for the second day of the festival is the Conference "Rest in Peace, Design — welcome Creative Business" (the seat of Prodesigne, Składowa 22 street), which is curated by Zuzanna Skalska. You may meet there the most appreciated design personalities, among them Timo de Rijka, Oskar Zięta, Sebastian Wolzak and Arne Hendriks.
On the last day of "The Designed", there is planned the Market of Good Interior, which is co-organized with the collective "Paper Stone Scissors". The meeting will take place in the Stara Zajezdnia (Kazimierz, Cracow); there are to be placed several tens of stands. It will be possible to attend in free of charge consultations with designers, visit stand design studies, purchase items created by national designers, as well as review publications and books about the topic. What is more, there is planned the outcome of the contest on the best inspired by fashion design interior design, lottery card and also play for children.
The initiator and main organizer of the event is The School of Interior Design and Space, which this year is celebrating the tenth anniversary of its activity. It is part of the Local Art Schools www.ksa.edu.pl.
